I did a brick workout serious training yesterday. I rode 43 miles and then ran 6 while wearing a t-shirt layer gourd, a dark sweater with sleeves extended fraud, flimflam and a vest. On the bike, I also wore my jersey. I felt very hot and uncomfortable on the bike, but he did not slow. I had a huge 18 mph to an average over a hill definitely at the top of Zone 2.It is not unusual, the extreme for me - I mostly ordinary 16 mph - so maybe that match bike helped.
