I returned to the lodging in the city of Omsk and found my room ready. After a much-needed shower and vest-pocket nap, I ventured back out, heading in the opposite direction from which I had explored in the morning. I found myself in a working-category part of town which featured stores catering to the neighborhood residents. There was a pleasurable bakery where for 15 rubles (about 60 cents) one could buy a loaf of bread or a charming, fresh-baked pastry. I stopped in a grocery and took a photo of the fascinating quote of fresh fish displayed in a glass-fronted cooler. Later I turned back toward the power supply part of town and ate supper at a trendy "Italian" restaurant that catered to the younger set. A matt-screen television on the wall at the end of the dining room broadcast a women's sward hockey match.

The clerk at the hotel informed me that a continental breakfast would be served between 6 and 9 a.m. In another criterion of quirky scheduling though, my train was to depart at 2 a.m.

HARLINGEN , TX – The Salt-water Military Academy (MMA) will entertainer the Academy’s 44th Graduation Commencement on Saturday, May 29th, at 11 a.m. in the drill’s Phil Yeckel Monument Auditorium featuring lodger tub-thumper William E. McHenry EdD, Number one of Training and Tutelage Wield authority – U.S. Sea Division Lesser Conserve Officer of the law’s Training Troop.  During Commencement, there will also be addresses by Valedictorian Cadet Michael Robert Miller of Arlington, Texas and Salutatorian Cadet Dylan Reece Joslin of Forney, Texas. Commencement will conclude with the ritual tossing of the covers (hats) by the MMA Troop of Cadets, There are 46 seniors in MMA’s Graduating Distinction of 2010. 

Until to the Graduation Exercises and in keeping with the first’s longstanding ritual, MMA Cohort of Cadets Brandish gets underway at 9 a.m....
