At a 47th birthday celebration this week at the Philadelphia gym where he trains, Hopkins, who chiefly bobs and weaves around treats, licked the frosting off his cake. For a fighter known for a parsimonious lifestyle and a bedtime more suited for young children, it was a rare patience saved for a special occasion.

Mike Prada:  BF started as Bullets Fever before the 2006/07 enliven.  I was a college kid who loved the Wizards and needed to find others who did, because I went to a way of life in New England.  I had been reading blogs for a while and noticed there wasn’t one for the Wizards, so I started one up and kept at it for a pair months, tough to get noticed among the larger NBA blogosphere.  Done, SB Country picked the locality up in December of ‘06, and the install has grown tremendously since then.  We now have several writers and a ton of genuinely, surely full community members. 

As for credentials, I unambiguous to get them now because I graduated college and came back tranquil.  I was a sports editorial writer and in the end the columnist in chief of my college letterhead , and always felt the plot could have benefited from access, but I clearly couldn’t get it while I was in college. 

RM:  At times you were very decisive of the classification and some of the players on this Wizards side.  Did you find yourself having to stretch back at all out of cravenness for what the Wizards PR truncheon would say? Or did that even ingredient into what you did and did not communicate with?  And which two Wizards players do you fantasize rightful the most valuation this ready?
