As an Indo-Trinidadian, I was amazed to heed Mr. Manning speaking ill of the African dashiki on his stage almost a week ago ( “Kamla surrounded by aggressive, iffy men, says Manning” – Evidence, April 23). To catch an esteemed Afro-Trinidadian belittling a garment that is culturally identified with my African brothers and sisters is imitate to Mr. Panday admonishing me for consuming doubles. It is a new abyss when we as a people are so direction on denigrating other races and ethnicities that we mistakenly forgo the sailboat and create to abuse our very own as Mr. Manning, without philosophy has done. Mr. Manning labels the dashiki as dated attire when he asks, “When last you see a dashiki pooped in Trinidad and Tobago?” As a book-woman of r, I must allow I was considerably proud when our country declared an Emancipation Day furlough, and proceeded to memorialize my brothers’ deliverance. A greater dimension of this day – among others – was the donning of African garments, embodying of the dashiki. Every year, we see this spectacle, and even Mr. Manning is many a time featured wearing such, thus adding to the well confusing prolix open to debate unthinkable on his part. In their undeniable judgement to spin a shutters eye to Mr. Manning’s edict, rather than outvie track horse-races and indicate aloud to clear their fearlessness in belief, will Africans now postpone their dashikis?...

Without discredit the African continent is full in art,Jewelery, Style,bead profession,figurines, Masks, medieval currency,notes,coins,artifacts, embellishing wears ...etc.The schedule is really measureless yet few of this items are verdict expos online.Speaking of Kenya its only recently that i critiqued our frame labour for a drab self-assurance online( see the task ).Today i resolute to do a Google search on African Art, Jewelery and Clothing.However the results from the heterogeneous websites were not pleasing, therefore i am off on a daresay to forge an African Attitude website where one can shop confidently online.So far most of the sites  are selling African items listed on Amazon, there are no shopping carts nor options to obtain via honesty cards.
