Five adjoining men wanted to talk about Dogtown.

They wanted to share their stories of growing up in the quarter west of York that was once home to an amusement park and two active quarries.

"You've objective scratched the surface of Dogtown. We would like to sit down and talk to you about it," Mike Elicker said.

Elicker and minority pals Curve Sweitzer, Dave Wakeland and brothers Bob and Roland Gentzler send forth more than two hours sharing stories about life in the 1930s and 1940s in the in the right known as Dogtown.
