While I’m no Aimee Brothman (our very own neighbouring fashionista; for those of you who don’t dig her weekly configuration regulate, you should!), I would like to ponder that I keep a rather moral thrumming on what’s in “style”. Though admittedly I admiration my leather and denim, there’s a excuse as to why designers steadily look to the gone and forgotten for arousal, and why “retro”, as it were, has never gone out of elegance. Whether we’re talking Victorian corsets, pin-up bangs, silverscreen makeup and desirability, or 70s feel, all of these trends have and will persist to be revived (albeit with innovations and/or extensions) because they’re unique, model, and eternal in their constitution; hardly ever can the same be said about purely modern “crazes”.
