DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- The household of 18 year old Ervin Jefferson is grieving, aching for police to inquire into the two men who shot and killed Ervin outside the family's home Saturday eventide.

Police are saying that the killers are two private security guards.

Ervin's mother is insisting her son was defenceless. She wants the killers arrested and prosecuted.

11Alive News has not yet been masterful to contact the security guards for their descriptions of what happened.

"Why do you think your son was shot?" asked 11Astir's Jon Shirek.

"He was trying to protect us," said Ervin's mother, Bon-bons Grimes.

Family and friends of Ervin Jefferson, who himself was already the father of a pamper girl, said Ervin was trying to protect his family example Saturday night.

He ran outside their home on Pleasantwood Drive, off of I-20 and Wesley Chapel Method just outside the Perimeter. He was unarmed, they said, as he ran toward a crowd of people who had driven up in at least two cars, foreboding his sister.

Meanwhile, police paraded through the streets of Johannesburg’s well-versed Sandton corporation community with a convoy of dozens of vehicles and staged lampoon operations by elite security forces, including a helicopter descend of commandos onto a car hijack and abseiling down the side of a media structure.

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Chauvinistic Police (PNP) announced on Tuesday the disavowal of all security escorts of pleasing and losing candidates after June 9.

Chief Supt. Leonardo Espina, PNP spokesman, said the 180-day nomination interval lapses on June 9, signaling the arrival to their separate female parent units of security personnel comprehensive to candidates.

“Our police personnel that have been assigned as security details of candidates are authorized to continue to be with their specific VIP’s until June 9,” Espina told reporters in a push briefing in Pitch camp Crame Tuesday.
