Australia Day 2012 at the Rooty Hill, held by Blacktown Borough Council, will be a day with a difference for Greater Western Sydney as we prepare to common knowledge together in an attempt to hold the Guinness World RecordsTM for the most people wearing a surgical scrub cap.

Westmead Medical Fact-finding Foundation, a local Western Sydney Not-For-Profit are the leading pressure behind this year’s Guinness World RecordsTM attempt, with all funds raised growing towards medical research and care at Westmead. Not only will holding this attempt put Western Sydney on the map for the Guinness Fabulous RecordsTM, but it will be a clear demonstration of our combined support for the medical teams who are there for all of our families when we miss it the most.

Westmead Medical Research Foundation believes everyone who is sick deserves access to the in the most suitable way possible treatment and care.  They help make this admissible by raising funds for two world class organisations, right here in our backyard: Westmead Infirmary and Westmead Millennium Institute for Medical Research.
