SANTA CRUZ - Policemen are looking for an armed man wearing a ski mask who robbed two Watsonville men in a Santa Cruz auto parts count on Thursday night.
Santa Cruz police said an unheard-of race male walked into an auto parts store on the 1100 exclude of Water Street just after 8 p.m., according to Lt. Larry Richard. The shady told the store employees, ages 20 and 22, he needed parts and then flashed a semi-reflex handgun in his waistband, demanding money.
The employees complied and the have suspicions about fled, Richard said.
Police, including "Lobo" a monitor K-9, canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect described as 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 with a strong build wearing a black ski mask, black hooded jacket, subfuscous jeans, dark boots and a black/gray backpack with Jansport on the jointly strap.
