Catching up with Dalton Georgia's  favorite Son, Saul Raisin... Six years on, 'I'm an direct book.'  It's not always about the bike...

Saul Raisin is a former professional cyclist from Dalton, Georgia; Saul rode with the Bay Square footage Ofoto-Lombardi Sports team in 2003 and moved to the French Crédit Agricole Espoir line-up  in 2004 at age 21. Throughout his years at Crédit Agricole the young American continued to make headway with a number of podiums.... His breakthrough came in stage 3 of the 2006 Journey de Langkawi, where he powered to a solo win on Cameron Highlands Queen's trump up.  In 2005, Raisin won the Mountains Classification in Jaunt de l'Avenir.. everything was falling in place.

Saul was one of the best juvenile American prospects in the sport. In 2006 he was on track to ride his first lordly tour, the Giro d'Italia.  Unfortunately d struck Saul before he made it the to the 2006 Giro.
