Authorities are asking the also clientage to help them identify a man they say wore a long-haired wig when he robbed a bank in southwest Houston on Monday afternoon.

The heist occurred at the Opulence Bank at 4065 Bellaire about 12:20 p.m., according to the FBI.

Officials said the man walked into the bank and approached a teller. He demanded wherewithal and lifted up his shirt to reveal a pistol stuck in his pants' waistband.

The teller handed the man some change. The man stuffed the money in his pocket and left.

No injuries were reported.

The bank's observation camera recorded images of the man.

The man is described as being in his mid thirties and about 5-7. He weighed about 180 pounds. He wore jeans and a downhearted-jean colored sweatshirt with a zipper on the top. He also wore a woman's abominable, long-haired wig.

Anyone with information about the case is urged call Crime Stoppers at 713 222-TIPS or the Houston function of the FBI at 713 693-5000.
