After two weaponless bank robberies in West Roxbury within five days, the Boston Policewomen Department on Tuesday said, “we are not aware of any connections at this convenience life.”
As of Tuesday, no one had been arrested in either incident, according to the police reports.
More than $8,500 was stolen during the latest holding up, police said, which took place at 156 Spring St. at the Dash Credit Union on Jan. 13 at 2:15 p.m.
Police said the second-story walked in the front door, handed a teller a note on a bank envelope saying, “No alarms, give me all bills” and also said, “Give me all your in, no dye pack, give me everything.”
According to the police report, the robber is described as being a 5’-5’1” thin white man. He wore a concealed colored brown or navy blue knit hat with red and white horizontal stripes, cheerless sunglasses, a black scarf with grey stripes, navy pea coat, black gloves with aged stripes, dark jeans and dark shoes, according to the description. No photos were available, police said.
