AMERICAN Ravine -- A Walmart burglary Friday night resulted in a talkative pursuit and the arrest of two San Franciscans, American Canyon police said.
An American Pass officer spotted a car that was suspected to be related to the Walmart Supercenter burglary at about 8:30 p.m. traveling southbound on Highway 29, north of Crawford Way. The car's driver then pulled over when the functionary made a traffic stop, but sped off as the officer was approaching.
The car then led police on a tracking along Highway 29 to Highway 37 to westbound Interstate 80, boys in blue said.American Canyon police officers stopped pursuing the car lean towards the junction of interstates 80 and 580.
Contra Costa County Sheriff's helicopter then took over the speciality and continued to follow it into the city of Oakland.
Oakland police officers spotted the car in the conurbation and stopped it, resulting in the arrest of the two people.The driver was identified as Tollie Jones, 26, and the voyager was Monique Holman, 18. Both were San Francisco residents.
