A cloudless day with 70-extent temperatures provided epitome conditions for Saturday’s annual Whither Around the Hub Bicycle Rip in Smethport, Pennsylvania.

For the B consecutive year, the 53-mile speed ended with evidence-shattering performances in both the Men and Women divisions. The winners of the gleaming Gold Watches were Jay Joslyn and Janel Bedard. Both also received a 1st Set medallion and loot pickings.  

Jay Joslyn, age 35, from Buffalo, New York, on the skids the men’s recount with a spell of 2:06:18.2. He slashed 2 minutes and 19.1 seconds from last year’s report-locale exhibit turned in by Cheyne Hoag of Danville, New York. Cheyne finished in shift digs this year with a chance of 2:06:22.7, which as a matter of fact club his 2008 record of 2:07:09.0.

Riding a Titan bike and sporting number 260 over dirty and immature colors, Jay’s direct Maecenas was Shickluna, a bicycle machine shop in Buffalo.
