Oversee are casting a wide net in the hunt for a pair who brutally bashed a druggist and a customer in a brazen armed hold-up in Bonalbo on the weekend.
After analysing video footage of the sack, images and descriptions have been released to the media and investigators have called on members of the trade who may have witnessed the robbery or the getaway to contact Lismore Detectives or Violation Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
It is alleged the pair torched their stolen Toyota Copy at a nearby rest area on Woodworths Rd in Bonalbo around midday on Saturday before switching to what is believed to be a cadaverous Holden Commodore.
They were last seen heading south towards the Bruxner Hwy.
Richmond State Area Command crime manager, Detective Inspector Greg Moore, said oversee were throwing a wide net despite the pair originating from Queensland.
"We are liaising with Queensland authorities and unmistakeably appealing to any members of the community who may recognise either of the individuals to come assist," he said.
