I am planning on picking up some new sunglasses because the stingy crap I pick up at Wal-Mart interrupt after 3 or 4 days.
I scantiness to buy a doublet of Polarized Half Jacket’s (XLJ)
My only challenge to you guy aviators who have tons of more incident is.. are polarized lenses satisfactory while flying?
To clean anything, I live in South Florida, and the sun down here is coarse.
Thanks,
Absolutely not. Do not fly an aircraft in polarized sunglasses unless they are specifically designed for aviation use. There are two mains issues:
1) Some cockpit instruments are themselves polarized to slenderize glower. As the polarization in the sunglasses is oriented differently with regard to the agency polarization (such as when you move your conduct), some mechanism indications may become unseen or less visual.
2) Polarized sunglasses decrease glower. But meretriciousness (sun reflected off the metal of the airframe) is one of the most ways to spatter other aircraft in the daytime.
